Temporary Strainer Application
This is a design that offers inexpensive Protection for expensive Meters, Valves, Pumps, & other mechanical equipment from scale weld slag, dirt and other foreign matter during start up. Basket, Conical & Plate Type Strainers are temporary and after initial start up they should be removed from the pipeline.

Temporary Strainer Installation Method
Locate the strainer between the pipe flanges as you install it into the pipeline. That mesh lining, if provided should be facing the flow. The strainer is designed to be self centering between the pipe flanges and bolting. Using standard piping practices, ensure that required gasket & Bolting is installed and bolt torque values are achieved.

½” (Inch) to 24” (Inch) & Fabricated - Custom sizes to meet any Requirements.

Temporary Strainer Screen Opening
3 Mesh to 100 Mesh.
