Eco-Drain Structured Wall Pipes-Eco-Drain Structured Wall Pipes - IS 15328
These pipes have a unique wall structure i.e. with a number of “holes” in the wall thickness in longitudinal direction. They are not solid wall pipes. As a result, the eco-drain pipes are noticeably lighter and less expensive than any existing PVC pipe of similar stiffness and many times lighter than a concrete pipe, with equivalent load carrying capacity. These pipes are widely accepted and used in several European countries. These pipes are available in 110mm to 315mm sizes and meet the requirements of International Standards, (comply to IS -15328) and have equivalent stiffness and flexibility in combination with a weight reduction from 10% to 35%, depending on size. These pipes are interchangeable with solid wall pipes and are compatible with regular PVC fittings. They are made available in different stiffness classes.

This system is designed for normal water application and an ideal solution for potable water distribution, plumbing and water supply in residential and industrial buildings.

The system is made as per ASTM standards. The pipes are made as per ASTM D-1785 and fittings are made as per ASTM D-2466 (for SCH 40 fittings) and ASTM D 2467 (for SCH 80 fittings). The pipes are plain ended in 6 meters lengths, in SCH 40 and SCH 80 pressure class. The complete fitting range is available in SCH 80, whereas most running fittings are also available in SCH 40. The pipes and fitting are available in 20 to 200mm (½” to 8″) in SCH 80.
